As time passes, our teeth can become more vulnerable to problems such as decay, cracks, or discoloration. If your dentist notices that a tooth is decayed or has become cracked or weakened, then a crown may be needed to prevent any additional problems and protect the tooth.
Dr. Ravi Soni begins this simple process by cleaning your natural tooth. This involves removing any decay or debris. He then takes a digital impression (no more goop!) of the affected tooth and the surrounding area. This impression is sent electronically to our partner dental lab who creates your new crown. We aim for a one-week turnaround time and are committed to providing a more comfortable fit.
Once received, we carefully place the beautiful crown and make any small adjustments. When ready, the restoration is bonded into position, restoring your tooth’s original strength and function. Due to our commitment to quality, we only use modern materials that allow us to match your crown to the shade of your smile and blend in with your natural teeth.
Depending on the level of damage to your tooth, Dr. Ravi Soni recommends either a partial crown (inlay/onlay) or a dental bridge. Both solutions are long-term and seamlessly harmonize with your smile!

Dental crowns are custom-made caps placed over damaged or weakened teeth to restore their strength, shape, and appearance. They are often recommended after large fillings, root canals, or fractures.
With proper oral hygiene, dental crowns can last 10–15 years or more.
We offer porcelain, ceramic, zirconia, and metal-free crowns that mimic natural tooth color and provide durability.
The process is comfortable thanks to local anesthesia and precise digital technology.
Brush and floss daily, avoid chewing hard objects, and attend regular dental checkups to ensure longevity.
